This a new spin on the old favorite of putting disposable cameras on tables for guests to take pictures during the wedding reception. The idea is to have a selection of user friendly, yet more creative cameras, as an activity for guests. The “Snap Station” is also an alternative to the popular photo booth.

Where to get Cameras:
There are many different places to get old cameras (Ebay, Etsy, Craigslist), toy cameras (Urban Outfitters, Fred Flare) and so on. My guess is that if you ask friends and family, they likely have fun/vintage/cool cameras lying around their houses (think Aunt Dorthy’s attic). The Polaroid and Nikon I had. I found though that quite a few other friends had fun cameras lying around. Just be willing to pay for anything broken during the wedding (accidents do happen).
Other fun options are Fisheye Cameras, Fuji Intax Instant Camera (Fuji’s solution to the lack of polaroid film availablity) and Lomo Cameras (generally these take 4 pics at once).
Black and White single use cameras like the one found here can also be a great option. You can also give these single use Black and White cameras to the younger guests at your wedding,  and that should keep them busy, minimally during cocktail hour!
